Family and Friends –
Wishing you the best this holiday season! As we settle down these days before Christmas, we wanted to write a brief note to recap our very exciting year!
We started the year off right with our New Years’ trip to Hawaii to spend time with our family and friends there. After a relaxing time, we returned back to face the year ahead. Ryan immediately was on the road headed to Las Vegas for CES and Daniel was back working with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. It was business as usual, but at home we were continuing discussions on a BIG decision.
On Valentine’s Day, we signed papers to list our condo in San Francisco and begin the very quick process of getting ready to move to Portland. Our condo never made it on the market, but sold in under two days in an off-market sale. The San Francisco market was as crazy as expected and kept us on our toes to get ready for the big move on March 30th.
After arriving in Portland, we stayed with Ryan’s very gracious parents (and even moved with them to their new home) as we hunted for, and remodeled our new (let’s be honest… it’s Kai’s new) home. As with all remodels, it’s taking a little longer than expected, but we have a wonderful house to call home in Lake Oswego, OR.
Daniel has been working on a number of various contracts for a variety of public affairs and public relations projects. You can read more about one of his big projects with the University of San Diego and Pure Water San Diego.
Ryan had another great year with Live Marketing. His role has developed over the last year and he continues to love working with a variety of clients. This year took him to Vegas, Chicago, Washington, Tokyo, San Francisco, Houston, Austin, London, Denver, San Jose, San Diego, Vancouver, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, and Boston.
We managed an escape to Maui in August that was rejuvenating amidst the move and the remodel and are looking forward to some adventures in 2016!
